Ethemcan Bakirlioglu and Giovanni Parenti have joined Analysys Mason as partners. The management consultancy focuses on telecoms, media and technology, and the pair will help it expand its offering across Europe.

Headquartered in London, Analysys Mason also operates from offices in Cambridge, Manchester, Dublin, Bonn, Dubai, Hong Kong, Kolkata, Lund, Madrid, Milan, New Delhi, New York, Oslo, Paris, Singapore and Stockholm. The global consultancy brings expertise together across four practices: strategy; transaction support; business transformation; regulation and policy.
Ethemcan Bakirlioglu will help Analysys Mason grow its expertise into a new market, with the former Bain & Company Associate Partner being based in Istanbul, Turkey. Having previously been a senior member of Bain’s international telecoms, media and technology (TMT) practice, he has a strong commercial strategy and transformation background, helping leading companies to find new growth and profit. He was also previously a Director with PwC’s strategy wing Strategy&.
Looking ahead, Bakirlioglu will help drive forwards Analysys Mason’s work in sub-continental Asia, Middle East, and North Africa, and will lead the firm’s continued expansion in Turkey and Central Asia.

Giovanni Parenti meanwhile joins Analysys Mason’s Milan office from Italian specialist consultancy Strategic Management Partners. There, he led the TMT and Innovation practice, delivering a range of strategy, transformation and change management projects. Previously Parenti also held various executive roles at WarnerMedia.
Parenti will now head up the firm’s Milan outpost.
